Ball Mills

Grayton supply mechanical and fabrication services to provide complete refurbishment of equipment from large vertical mills to smaller cement & coal mills. Specialist diagnostic reports are available for long term planning solutions.

Grayton work with our key clients to support their ball mills by planning and supporting preventative maintenance regimes. The maintenance work influences the rotational speed and service life of the mills. In order to reduce downtime regular examination including 3D laser alignments and timely replacements of parts and media is undertaken.

Large Overhauls would include but not limited to:

  • Examination and replacement main shaft bearing

  • Quality checks on Main Body
  • Repair/Replace Main Body Shell
  • Inlet/Outlet end cover replacement / Repairs

Grayton is able to scan the inside of mills and provide accurate wear information and analysis with our 3D laser scanning equipment and trained technicians.
