We are pleased to announce that three of our apprentices passed their ‘Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (Mechanical) – Level 3 ‘ in the summer of 2024. It was a three year apprenticeship at HETA, while being helped along the way by workplace mentors who are experts in their field.
The newly qualified technicians are: Joshua Bell, Liam Berry and Leon Mumby – all are now continuing their studies doing an HNC in Mechanical Engineering with continued development in the workplace. Well done lads – keep up the good work!
In September 2024 we welcomed another seven new apprentices. Five of these are year one students who will spend their first year at college before joining us in 2025. These apprentices are a mix of platers, mechanical fitters, welders and draughtsmen. The other two apprentices are year two students, now with us full-time at our Barton workshop, learning to be platers.
Grayton and RJE are delighted to see so much potential coming through the apprenticeship scheme and we endeavour to support and encourage our apprentices all the way as they progress into meaningful careers. We’re excited to see what the future holds!
